Animal Rescue Site Changes Captcha for Accessibility and Usability

The Animal Rescue Site has replaced an original type of photo Captcha with ReCaptcha, in a form used to verify votes in their $300,000 Shelter Challenge

The note explains that people complained that they had trouble identifying the animals, and spelling them.

One advantage of the ReCaptcha is the audio feature which improves accessibility. Using the free ReCaptcha service also helps fund digitizing books - and ReCaptcha is now a Google service.
