It was a good Halloween, the weather was warm and the kids were out in droves. A lot of stores on Bergenline Avenue were running out of candy by the early afternoon. I finally had time to pick up pumpkins from the farm stand, one for carving and one for cooking. My Jack-o-Lantern and I watched the Yankees win Game 3 and usher in the end of the year (Samhain) - I put a "ring my bell for candy" sign on the door and had some little visitors, rewarded with Reese's and Hershey's assortments.
