I achieved a notable milestone: my 50th best answer in the Web Development questions category on LinkedIn.

I did not start out to be the "king" of best answers - I like helping people and usually I learn something by taking 10 minutes to research links and info for my answers. When I noticed I was in the top 3, I made a decision to become the king.

I'm a Pundit: Web 2.0, Web 3.0, Emotiv and Hype

I answered a question on LinkedIn asking about the difference between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0

I cited the common understanding that the terms are hype and not based on any substantive metrics - and my usual quip predicting that Web 3.0 will come with the maturation of neural brain wave controllers such as Emotiv Epoc headsets.

Tae Hyun Moon liked my answer so much he asked permission to excerpt it on his blog, along with nine other answers.

I did not start out trying to be competitive - I just answered questions, often I think my answer was chosen as much for my writing skills as my expertise.

The 19th best answer was, fittingly, about using Drupal + Organic Groups List Manager.

Someone forwarded some photos of Faith the Dog to me, and I made a video slideshow set to Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog" and I sent a link to Faith's family and they loved it.

Then Faith's human companion, Jude Stringfellow, sent me the hospital and USO photos, and suggested the Youngbloods song "Let's Get Together" from Forrest Gump, which resulted in the "Faith and Hope" slideshow. YouTube subsequently muted the soundtrack because it is copyrighted - so we have replaced it with music chosen from YouTube's library.

Faith the Dog has a brand new Official Web Site developed with Acquia Drupal and featuring state-of-the-art social publishing and community features. Faith also has a group on LinkedIn!

I saw Faith the Dog on Oprah, she is very cute and inspirational... she made an impression on me.
